Internal Hole Deburring Brushes (SiC)


ESS BoreSweep™ are silicon-carbide (SiC) bore brushes for inner-hole cleaning, deburring, rust removal, and fine polishing. Uniform SiC filaments cut evenly, remove micro-burrs at intersections, and leave a bright, smooth bore without changing size. Suitable for CNCs, robots, hand tools, or bench machines.


What they do


  • Deburr & blend cross-holes, threads, ports, and blind holes.
  • Clean & de-rust pipe and tube IDs, cylinder bores, and threaded holes.
  • Polish to low Ra; example case shows shiny, smooth finish after short cycle.

Running tips (from source example)


Example: Ø6 mm brush at ~1000 min⁻¹ for ~5 s produced a clean, shiny threaded bore. Adjust RPM/pressure to material and diameter.


Light radial contact; short reciprocation strokes; keep the bore lubricated/coolant as needed. (Best-practice inference based on source guidance and typical use.)
